This Is GEO

Public beta welcome guide

From signup to
ongoing AI visibility.

This Is GEO is built for business owners and marketers. You do not need to code or supply AI-provider API keys. Connect your website, run the baseline, and let Geo translate the evidence into clear next steps.

The website audit uses your authorized domain; a custom tracking script is not required.

OptionalRead-only Google

Search Console and Analytics add first-party context without giving GEO permission to change them.

Evidence-backedNo invented results

Unavailable and not-observed measurements remain labeled that way instead of becoming artificial passes or failures.

Your first session

Seven guided steps.

Have your website URL, business name, and billing details available. If connecting Google, use an account that can view the correct Search Console or GA4 property.

01

Create your account

Sign up with your name and email. If you already have an account, use Log In instead so your workspace stays tied to one identity.

02

Add your business and website

Enter the exact website you are authorized to assess, confirm your business details, and review the public-beta terms.

03

Activate your plan

Complete secure checkout for the plan shown in your workspace. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by This Is GEO.

04

Connect Google—if you choose

Authorize read-only Search Console and Google Analytics access, then select the exact properties for your website. GEO checks whether Google exposes a separate AI Mode or AI Overviews report for that property.

05

Run your baseline

Start the bounded scan from your workspace. GEO evaluates the pages included in your plan, retains dated evidence, and starts the disclosed AI-question panel supported by your plan.

06

Review, prioritize, and act

Read the automatic plain-English report, open the priority queue, ask Geo for an explanation, and choose a fix kit or an approval-gated specialist workflow.

07

Keep watching

Use the Visibility Pulse, event alerts, month-to-month history, source map, and Did It Work receipts to see what changed after action was taken.

Know your workspace

Six views, one next action.

Start with Overview. Move deeper only when you need the evidence or implementation detail behind a result.

Report

Your executive summary, readiness profile, priority queue, AI visibility snapshot, and downloadable report.

Visibility Pulse

Last and next monitoring checks, important changes, event alerts, and month-to-month progress.

GEO Readiness

A transparent /50 assessment. Points are awarded only when the required evidence is observed.

AI Visibility

Dated provider observations, tested questions, competitors, citation sources, and a dedicated Google Search & Analytics block.

AI Search Team

Geo, Scout, Link, Quill, Proof, and Echo turn retained evidence into plain-English work.

Account

Manage teammate seats, plan details, and workspace access without sharing passwords.

Optional first-party context

Connect Google without handing over control.

Choose the Search Console and GA4 properties you are authorized to view. GEO receives read-only report data and cannot edit the website, property, users, settings, or campaigns.

Search Console

Search performance

See impressions, clicks, click rate, pages, countries, and devices from the selected website property.

Property dependent

AI Mode & AI Overviews

GEO checks whether Google exposes an isolated generative-AI report for that exact property. If Google does not expose it, the dashboard says so. It never guesses.

Google Analytics 4

Landed AI referrals

See sessions that actually arrived from the configured AI-assistant channel. GA4 cannot count an AI mention or citation that nobody clicked.

Your agentic AI search team

Six specialists. One coordinated plan.

Every specialist works from retained evidence, shows what is missing, and stops at the approval boundary required by your plan.

Geo

Explains results, answers questions from retained evidence, and coordinates the next step.

Scout

Checks whether supported AI crawlers can reach and read sampled pages.

Link

Keeps your identity, structured data, local facts, and site relationships consistent.

Quill

Builds evidence-grounded content briefs and drafts; nothing is published without approval.

Proof

Finds claims that need stronger sources, citations, or expert accountability.

Echo

Tracks customer questions, mentions, citations, recommendations, competitors, and off-site sources.

How to read the evidence

Do not collapse the funnel.

A citation is not the same as a mention, and a missing citation does not prove a page was never considered. This Is GEO preserves those boundaries.

1

Accessible

The page could be reached under the tested conditions.

2

Retrieved / encountered

The measurement produced evidence that the source was encountered.

3

Cited

The answer linked to or identified the source as a citation.

4

Mentioned / recommended

The brand appeared in the answer or recommendation.

After the baseline

Fix what matters, then prove what changed.

Start with critical access blockers and high-impact, high-confidence wins. Use the retained evidence and verification test in each fix kit, then watch later readiness, visibility, citation, source, and traffic observations.

  • Confirm the finding and affected page.
  • Review impact, effort, confidence, and implementation notes.
  • Make the change yourself, hand off the developer-ready ticket, or use eligible GEO Action help.
  • Run change verification and compare later evidence—not just the headline score.
  • Use month-to-month history and Did It Work receipts as observed impact, never as a guaranteed claim of causation.
