Before they book a table

Diners have a question.
Your restaurant could be the answer.

They aren't always searching for you by name. They're looking for a great meal, the right atmosphere, or a place nearby.

These are examples of the kinds of questions worth tracking—not results or promises about your restaurant.

Start with what your website tells us

Five checks. A clearer next step.

Your free snapshot explains what we could read and what needs attention. Missing information stays visible—we don't turn an unfinished check into a passing score.

  1. 01

    Can AI read your website?

We look for access problems that can stop systems from reading your public pages.

  2. 02

    Can systems find your pages?

We check discovery signals such as your site map and preferred page addresses.

  3. 03

Is it clear who you are?

Your cuisine, location and what makes your restaurant different should be easy to understand.

  4. 04

    Do you answer diners’ questions?

Useful details about dining, reservations and your menu give people a reason to choose you.

  5. 05

Can people trust what they find?

We look for authorship, freshness and supporting sources on your pages. This is not a full audit of outside listings or reviews.

A restaurant-specific place to start

A beautiful menu should be readable, too.

If your menu is only a photo or PDF, start by preparing a plain-text version. Keep the design you love; give diners another easy way to read what you serve.

Our restaurant Skills Lab walks you through it. You review the dish names, prices and dietary details before anything is added to your site.

Your restaurant. Your team. Your decisions.

Know what to fix. Choose who helps.

Independent restaurants deserve a fair shot at being found, too. We built GEO to help you and the people you already trust work on your online presence—not give you another job. Start with a free report; available tools and specialist help depend on your plan and platform.

A few things worth knowing

Before you scan.

What do I get for free?

A read-only snapshot of up to five public website pages, five category scores and the problems the scan can confirm. Your report opens on the site with explanations; a PDF download is optional. It is a readiness check, not an all-engine recommendation test.

Will this change my website?

No. The free scan only reads public pages and needs no website password. Later fixes depend on your platform and the permissions you approve. You and your website person stay in control; guided help is available when a connected draft is not supported.

My menu is a PDF. Can you help?

Yes. The restaurant Skills Lab includes a readable-menu guide. It helps you prepare page text from a PDF or image menu for review. Check dish names, prices and dietary information before asking your website person to add it.

Does it work with Toast, Wix or Squarespace?

You can start with the public website scan if your pages are accessible. Guided platform instructions are separate from direct editing connections. This page does not promise that GEO can write to every restaurant platform.

Will AI start recommending my restaurant?

No tool can guarantee a recommendation. Clearer, more accurate information gives AI systems better material to work with. Paid monitoring records supported AI answers over time so you can see what was actually observed, separately from website readiness.
